ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengefisienkan biaya pengiriman barang KUN HUMANITY SYSTEM. Perusahaan akan mengetahui efisiensi biaya antara menggunakan metode lama atau metode baru. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, data yang dibutuhkan diperoleh dengan melakukan survey di perusahaan ini. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Transportasi. Untuk mendapatkan biaya pengiriman yang optimal, perusahaan telah menggunakan jasa transportasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Metode Transportasi dengan pendekatan North West Corner (NWC), Least Cost, dan Vogel’s Approximation Method (VAM). Dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cara perusahaan menggunakan metode lama, dan perusahaan dapat mengefisienkan biaya jika menggunakan metode transportasi daripada menggunakan metode lamake daerah tujuan. Untuk mendapatkan biaya yang optimal, sebaiknya perusahaan menggunakan Metode Transportasi. The company will know the cost efficiency between using the old method or the new method. This research method is descriptive, the data needed is obtained by conducting a survey in this company. Analysis of the data in this study using the Transportation Method. To get optimal shippingcosts, the company has used transportation services using the Transportation Method approach with the North West Corner (NWC), Least Cost, and Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM) approach. And the results of this study indicate that the way the company uses the old method, and the company can be cost efficient if it uses the transportation method instead of using the old method to the destination.
