Abstract
ABSTRAK Meitha Nur Hanifah, Manajemen Logistik, Analisis Optimalisasi Kebutuhan Tenaga Kerja Dengan Menggunakan Metode Time Study (Studi Kasus PT Jaya Match Factory) Faktor perkembangan zaman menyebabkan terjadi penurunan penjualan produk korek api kayu setiap tahunnya, sehingga dibutuhkan salah satu alternative dalam membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pada perusahaan yaitu dengan pengurangan tenaga kerja yang sesuai dan tepat. Pengurangan tenaga kerja ini dalam arti tidak boleh kurang karena tidak akan optimal dan tidak boleh lebih karena akan menimbulkan pemborosan pada perusahaan. PT Jamafac merupakan perusahaan produksi korek api kayu, yang memiliki 5 worksatation kerja terdiri dari Cutting, Spineline, Continuous line, Packaging dan Storage. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran waktu standar di 5 workstation kerja, (2) untuk mengetahui kebutuhan jumlah pekerja yang sesuai berdasarkan waktu standar pada 5 workstation kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas metode Shapiro-wilk, uji keseragaman dan uji kecukupan data. Adapun pengambilan data yang dilakukan penelitian ini diambil secara langsung dengan metode time study dan alat bantu stopwatch. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan gambaran waktu standar yang telah ditambahkan faktor kelonggaran berupa personal, delay, fatique allowance dan faktor penyesuaian dengan metode Westinghouse untuk setiap elemen di 5 workstation kerja, dan didapatkan hasil penentuan kebutuhan pekerja yaitu workstation cutting 1 orang, spineline 3 orang, packaging 2 orang, dan storage 1 orang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan dilakukan pengukuran waktu standar dengan metode time study dapat diketahui waktu standar per elemen di 5 workstation kerja dan dapat dilakukan pengurangan 7 tenaga kerja di 5 workstation kerja pada PT Jamafac. Reduction of this workforce in the sense that it should not be less because it will not be optimal and may not be more because it will cause waste to the company. PT Jamafac is a wood lighters production company, which has 5 work works consisting of Cutting, Spineline, Continuous line, Packaging and Storage. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out the standard time picture at 5 workstations, (2) to find out the need for the appropriate number of workers based on the standard time at 5 workstations. This study uses the Shapiro-Wilk method normality test, uniformity test and data adequacy test. The data collection conducted by this research was taken directly with the time study method and stopwatch aids. From the results of the study obtained a description of the standard time that has been added allowance factors in the form of personal, delay, fatique allowance and adjustment factors with the Westinghouse method for each element in 5 workstations, and the results obtained by determining the needs of workers namely workstation cutting 1 person, spineline 3 people, packaging 2 people, and 1 person storage. The conclusion of this research is that the standard time measurement using the time study method can be seen the standard time per element in 5 workstations and can reduce 7 workers in 5 workstations at PT Jamafac.
