Abstract

Abstrak Permasalahan di PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills yaitu detention container. Permasalahan ini terjadi karena adanya pemakaian container yang melebihi batas penggunaan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Permasalahan ini sering terjadi yang mengakibatkan kerugian besar bagi perusahaan. Perusahaan ingin meminimalkan kerugian yang disebabkan oleh permasalahan detention container dengan mencari akar penyebab permasalahannya. Jika sudah mendapatkan akar penyebab permasalahan, perusahaan mengharapkan dapat menurunkan biaya detention container untuk meminimalisir kerugian yang disebabkan membayar kelebihan jasa sewa container tersebut . Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan: Untuk Mengetahui akar permasalahan yang menyebabkan permasalahan detention container pada pengiriman produk paper dan tissue , dan untuk mengetahui faktor dominan yang menyebabkan besarnya biaya detention container pada pengiriman produk paper dan tissue. metode yang diusulkan: fishbone diagram,analisis faktor, uji koefisiensi analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya detention container yaitu human error dengan nilai faktor 0,811, karyawan dituntut lembur dengan nilai faktor 0,888, keterlambatan pengiriman invoice dengan nilai faktor 0,764, perhitungan detention menggunakan cara manual dengan nilai faktor 0,650, website shipping line yang terkoneksi terkadang error dengan nilai faktor 0,417. Sedangkan faktor dominan yang berpengaruh besarnya biaya detention adalah faktor adalah variabel perhitungan detention menggunakan cara manual (X4) dengan nilai koefisiensi regresi sebesar 0,439. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills is a detention container. This problem occurs because of the use of containers that exceed the usage limit caused by several factors. This problem often occurs which results in large losses for the company. The company wants to minimize losses caused by detention container problems by finding the root cause of the problem. If you already get the root cause of the problem, the company expects to reduce the cost of detention containers to minimize losses caused by paying the excess container rental services. This study aims: To find out the root cause of the problem of detention containers in the delivery of paper and tissue products, and to find out the dominant factor that causes the cost of detention containers in the delivery of paper and tissue products. proposed method: fishbone diagram, factor analysis, coefficient test of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study there are several factors causing detention containers, namely human error with a factor value of 0.811, employees are required to work overtime with a factor value of 0.888, late delivery of invoices with a factor value of 0.764, detention calculations using the manual method with a factor value of 0.650, connected shipping line website sometimes error with a factor value of 0.417. While the dominant factor that influences the amount of detention costs is the factor is the calculation of detention using the manual method (X4) with a regression coefficient of 0.439.
