Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alternatif pengendalian persediaan produk Unicharm pada Gudang distributor CV. Sinar Anugrah agar dapat meminimasi biaya persediaan yang harus dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. CV. Sinar Anugrah memiliki aktivitas distribusi produk Unicharm di mana di dalam nya terdapat aktivitas penyimpanan produk. Produk Unicharm kategori Baby care mengalami over stock yang melebihi batas toleransi over stock sebesar 10% selama bulan Januari-Juni 2020. Over stock ini mengakibatkan aset perusahaan menjadi mengendap. Akar dari permasalahan ini adalah kurang tepatnya penentuan antara waktu pemesanan dari setiap produk yang selalu dilakukan selama 1 (satu) minggu sekali serta kurang tepatnya penentuan jumlah produk yang akan dipesan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu klasifikasi ABC, uji distribusi normal, peramalan moving averages, pengendalian persediaan inventori model P (periodic review). Klasifikasi ABC digunakan untuk memperoleh produk-produk dengan demand value tertinggi yang kemudian produk-produk tersebut akan diolah. Uji distribusi normal digunakan untuk menguji pola data penjualan dari masing-masing produk apakah berdistribusi normal atau tidak. Peramalan moving averages digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil peramalan permintaan yang akan digunakan di dalam perhitungan pengendalian persediaan. Sedangkan periodic review digunakan untuk menentukan antara waktu pemesanan, jumlah produk yang akan dipesan, dan cadangan pengaman (safety stock). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bedasarkan klasifikasi ABC 5 (lima) produk dengan nilai demand value tertinggi pada kategori Baby care adalah MP Pants Standar L1BJ 2500, MP Pants Standar M1BJ 2500, MP Pants Standar S1BJ 2500, MP Pants Standar L44J PPG, dan MP Pants Standar M50J PPG. 5 (lima) produk tersebut memiliki pola data penjualan yang berdistribusi normal. Perhitungan pengendalian persediaan periodic review menghasilkan interval waktu pemesanan yang berbeda-beda dari 5 (lima) produk Baby care. Interval waktu pemesanan paling pendek adalah 7 (tujuh) hari yaitu produk MP Pants Standar L1BJ 2500, paling lama adalah 27 hari yaitu produk MP Pants Standar M50J PPG. Perhitungan periodic review juga dapat meminimasi biaya penyimpanan dari masing-masing produk dibandingkan dengan biaya simpan existing. Sinar Anugrah in order to minimize inventory costs that must be incurred by the company. CV. Sinar Anugrah has Unicharm product distribution activities in which there is product storage activities. Unicharm products in thecategory Baby care experienced an over stock that exceeded the tolerance limit for over stock by 10% during January-June 2020. This over stock resulted in the company's assets settling. The root of this problem is the inaccurate determination between the ordering time of each product which is always carried out once a week and the inaccurate determination of the number of products to be ordered. The method used in this research is ABC classification, normal distribution test, forecasting moving averages, inventory control model P (periodic review). ABC classification is used to obtain products with the demand value highest, which are then processed. The normal distribution test is used to test the sales data pattern of each product whether it is normally distributed or not. Movingforecasting is averages used to determine the demand forecasting results that will be used in the calculation of inventory control. Meanwhile, periodic reviews are used to determine the time between ordering, the number of products to be ordered, and thesafety stock. The results showed that based on the ABC classification of 5 (five) products with the demand value highest in the category, Baby care MP Pants Standard L1BJ 2500, MP Pants Standard M1BJ 2500, MP Standard Pants S1BJ 2500, MP Pants Standard L44J PPG, and MP Standard Pants. M50J PPG. These 5 (five) products have sales data patterns that are normally distributed. Theinventory control calculation periodic review results in different order time intervals for 5 (five) products Baby care. The shortest order interval is 7 (seven) days, namely the MP Pants Standard L1BJ 2500, the longest is 27 days, namely the MP Pants Standard M50J PPG. Calculations Periodic review can also minimize the storage costs of each product compared to the existing storage costs.
