Abstract
ABSTRAK Tinggi permintaan akan penggunaan produk pupuk khususnya pada bidang pertanian sawah membuat pihak selaku produsen dan distributor memiliki peran yang krusial pada CV. Rejeki. Dalam rangka membantu perusahaan dalam mengetahui jumlah permintaan kedepannya seperti apa, serta membantu perusahaan untuk mengetahui pentingnya safety stock dalam melayani konsumen. Maka penelitian ini mengidentifikasi masalah yang terdapat mengenai berapa jumlah yang harus disiapkan (perkiraan Safety Stock) untuk stok permintaan konsumen guna mengetahui jumlah permintaan kedepannya, berapa besar biaya distribusi dengan metode distribution requirement planning dan perbandingan biaya menggunakan metode sebelumnya dengan metode distribution requirement planning. Distribution requirement planning digunakan oleh penulis sebagai salah satu metode untuk mendapatkan hasil pengurangan biaya pendistribusian, penjadwalan pendistribusian, dan membantu manajemen dalam melakukan persediaan barang digudang. Maka didapatkan hasil safety stock yang dibutuhkan Safety stock yang dibutuhkan oleh CV. Rejeki sebesar 589 Sak. Biaya distribusi yang didapatkan setelah melakukan pengolahan data menggunakan metode distribution requirement planning (DRP) sebesar Rp. 146.598.930, Biaya distribusi dengan metode sebelumnya sebesar Rp 189.499.040 sedangkan biaya distribusi menggunakan metode distribution requirement planning (DRP) sebesar Rp 146.598.930. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbandingan biaya distribusi didapatkan sebesar Rp 42.900.110 atau sekitar 22,63%. Distribution requirement planning is used by the author as a method to get the results of reducing distribution costs, distribution scheduling, and assisting management in inventorying goods in the warehouse. Then the results obtained safety stock required safety stock required by CV. Rejeki of 589 Sak. Distribution costs obtained after processing the data using the distribution requirement planning (DRP) method of Rp. 146,598,930, the distribution cost using the previous method was Rp. 189,499,040, while the distribution cost using the distribution requirement planning (DRP) method was Rp. 146,598,930.
