Abstract

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS SCP (STRUCTURE, CONDUCT AND PERFORMANCE) BROILER CHICKEN INDUSTRY IN INDONESIA By: Silva Dhia Aryka 16115024 This study aims to analyze the structure, conduct and performance of broiler chicken in Indonesia and to determine the relationship between market structure and other factors with the performance of the broiler meat industry in Indonesia from 2011 to 2015. This study has four main topics, namely the structure, conduct and performance of the broiler meat industry in Indonesia, which is processed using the SCP (Structure, Conduct and Performance) analysis approach. Then identify the relationship between market structure and other factors with the performance of the broiler meat industry in Indonesia by using multiple linear regression analysis or Ordinary Least Square (OLS), there are three independent variables (CR4, X-EFF and Growth) and one dependent variable (PCM). The results of the study mention that income growth (PCM) has a positive relationship with internal efficiency (X-Eff) and output growth variables (Growth), where the high income growth can reflect the high efficiency of the company and its output variables and the concentration ratio of the 4 largest provinces (CR4) with obstacles market entry (MES) has a positive relationship where the level of fluctuation between the two is the same. And based on the t test the probability value of CR4 and X-EFF whose value is smaller than the real level and the GROWTH value does not significantly affect the dependent variable. Keywords: Structure, Conduct, Performance, OLS
