Abstract

PENILAIAN KINERJA KARYAWAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BEHAVIOURALLY ANCHOR RATING SCALE (BARS) DI PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) Studi kasus di Sentral Proses Pengolahan (SPP) Bandung Christina Peggy Erlangga Jurusan Manajemen Transportasi, Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Logistik Indonesia Jl. Kata kunci : Kinerja karyawan, Penilaian kinerja, Behaviourally Anchor Rating Scale (BARS). vi EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT USING BEHAVIOURALLY ANCHOR RATING SCALE (BARS) METHOD AT PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) Case study at the Central Processing Center (SPP) Bandung Christina Peggy Erlangga Transportation Management, Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Logistik Indonesia Sariasih 54, Sarijadi, Bandung City 40151, Indonesia Email : [email protected] ABSTRACT Abstract - This study aims to assess the performance of the employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) which works on the incoming mail, distribution, and outgoing mail at the Central Processing Center (SPP) Bandung. The problem found is that it is not yet known to what extent the employee's performance in these 3 sections. The method used for problem solving is the Behavioral Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) method. Performance appraisal is seen from 3 aspects of assessment, namely: level of discipline (X1), level of responsibility and responsiveness (X2), and level of leadership and communication (X3). The Behavioral Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) method is used to assess performance based on employee work behavior against compliance with standards set by the company. Based on the assessment using the Behavioral Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) method, the results of the employee leadership and communication level were 62.7%, the discipline level was 58.3%, and the responsibility and responsiveness level was 58.3%. Meanwhile, based on multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the effect of the independent variables (X1, X2, and X3) on the dependent variable (Y) was 23.3% with a moderate correlation of the independent variables on performance (Y). Key words : Employees performance, performance appraisal, Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale (BARS). vii
