Abstract

Kata kunci: Rute Distribusi, Biaya Transportasi, Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows, Ant Colony Optimization ABSTRACT Punctuality and number accuracy, as well as the distribution efficiency of a company cannot be achieved without distribution planning, one of which is determining the vehicle routes used for the distribution process. PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya is a company that distributes various types of fruits and vegetables located in the area of Lembang, West Bandung Regency, which daily distributes fruits and vegetables to several places in the areas of Bandung, Cirebon, Jabotabek, Karawang to several cities in Central Java Province. So far, the company's consideration in determining routes for the Greater Bandung area is only based on limited capacity, location and driver experience. Based on these problems, this study tries to examine whether the distribution/ delivery system implemented by PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya is already optimal, this can be seen from the mileage and distribution/ delivery costs, which are done by comparing existing distribution/ delivery methods with proposals using ant colony optimization. From the comparison results, it was found that the proposed distribution/ delivery system is better than the existing distribution/ delivery system, because it can save vehicle mileage of 181.7 Km or by 20% and costs of Rp 470,807 or 11% per week. From these results, it is evident that the existing delivery system is less optimal when compared to the proposed delivery system using the ant colony optimization method.
