Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya adalah salah satu perusahaan distributor sayuran. Dalam pengiriman sayuran ke customer (supermarket) PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya dituntut untuk tepat waktu. Akan tetapi, seringkali target pengiriman tidak sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan sehingga menyebabkan keterlambatan pengiriman. Keterlambatan pengiriman, kesalahan spesifikasi, kesalahan pengiriman dan hal lainnya akan menyebabkan sayuran ditolak oleh customer. Ketidaktepatan waktu pengiriman disebabkan karena ada aktivitas dalam distribusi yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah (waste). Berdasarkan current state value stream mapping total processing time yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan aktivitas distribusi adalah 61.246 detik. Pemborosan yang terjadi pada proses distribusi adalah waiting, processing, unnecessary motion dan correction of mistake. Keempat kategori waste tersebut akan dicari akar penyebabnya dengan menggunakan metode 5-whys. Perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah dengan analisis penerapan 5S dan merubah rute pengiriman. Dengan pemangkasan proses yang tidak perlu pada saat melakukan pengiriman dan merubah rute pengiriman maka penghematan waktu yang diperoleh adalah 4.874 detik (1,35 jam) dan menghemat jarak tempuh sebesar 10,95 km. Berdasarkan future state value stream mapping total processing time yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan aktivitas distribusi adalah 48.141 detik Perbedaan waktu antara current state value stream mapping dengan future state value stream mapping adalah 13.105 detik (3,64 jam) atau 21,40%. Kata Kunci: Distribusi, Value Stream Mapping, Waste, 5- why, 5S. ABSTRACT PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya is a vegetable distributor company. In shipping vegetables to customers (supermarkets) PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya was demanded to be on time. However, often the delivery target does not correspond to the specified time, causing delays in delivery. Delay in delivery, specification error, shipping error and other things will cause vegetables to be rejected by the customer. Inaccurate delivery time is caused because there are activities in the distribution that do not provide added value (waste). Based on current state value stream mapping, the total processing time needed to carry out distribution activities is 61,246 seconds. The waste that occurs in the distribution process is waiting, processing, unnecessary motion and correction of mistakes. The four categories of waste will be searched for the root causes using the 5-whys method. Improvements made are by analyzing the application of 5S and changing the delivery route. By trimming unnecessary processes when sending and changing shipping routes, the time savings obtained are 4,874 seconds (1.35 hours) and saves 10.95 km of mileage. Based on the future state value stream mapping, the total processing time needed to carry out distribution activities is 48,141 seconds. The time difference between the current state value stream mapping and the future state value stream mapping is 13,105 seconds (3.64 hours) or 21.40%.
