Abstract

vi STIMLOG Indonesia ABSTRAK Belakangan ini, terdapat isu yang sedang sering dibicarakan oleh para petinggi mengenai impor beras. Impor beras ini dinyatakan oleh Menteri Perdagangan Muhammad Lutfi, yang menyatakan akan mengimpor beras sebanyak 1.000.000 ton. Namun, rencana impor beras tersebut banyak menuai perdebatan oleh Menteri lainnya juga oleh direktur utama BULOG, Budi Waseso. Budi Waseso membantah untuk melakukan impor beras karena dari perhitungannya, Indonesia masih memiliki stok beras yang cukup untuk dijadikan persediaan selama tahun 2021. Maka dari itu, penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis apakah sebaiknya Indonesia melakukan impor beras atau tidak. Penelitian ini dibantu menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan dengan metode backpropagation. Hasil dari perhitungan menggunakan metode backpropagation telah mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan yaitu sekitar 1.500.000ton beras, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada tahun 2021 Indonesia memiliki stok beras yang cukup sehingga tidak perlu melakukan impor beras. Kata kunci: Beras, Impor Beras, Persediaan Beras, Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation. vii STIMLOG Indonesia ABSTRACT Lately, there is an issue that is often discussed by senior officials regarding rice imports. This rice import was declared by the Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, who stated that he would import 1.000.000 tons of rice. However, the plan to import rice has been debated by other ministers as well as by the president director of BULOG, Budi Waseso. Budi Waseso denies importing rice because from his calculations, Indonesia still has sufficient rice stocks to be stockpiled during 2021. Therefore, the author conducted this study to analyze whether Indonesia should import rice or not. This research is assisted by using an artificial neural network with the backpropagation method. The results of calculation using the backpropagation method have obtained results in accordance with the desired target, which is around 1.500.000 tons of rice, so it can be concluded that in 2021 Indonesia has sufficient rice stocks so there is no need to import rice.
