Abstract

vii ABSTRAK PT. Tangguh Samudera Jaya merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang bongkar muat. Pada mulanya kriteria pemilihan Vendor Trucking di PT. Tangguh Samudera Jaya hanya berdasarkan pada kriteria harga yang ditawarkan serta kualitas armada yang digunakan. Dengan adanya pengembangan terhadap kriteria pemilihan menyebabkan proses dalam pengambilan keputusan pemilihan Vendor Trucking menjadi kompleks. Proses pemilihan Vendor Trucking di PT. Tangguh Samudera Jaya sendiri termasuk kedalam permasalahan Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). Hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya kriteria yang digunakan dan dapat mempengaruhi dalam pemilihan Vendor Trucking. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process dan Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process digunakan untuk menghitung bobot prioritas setiap kriteria dan sub kriteria pemilihan Vendor. Hasil dari pembobotan sub kriteria dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process kemudian dijadikan sebagai input untuk metode Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution. Metode Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution digunakan untuk memperoleh alternatif terbaik yang tidak hanya memiliki jarak terpendek dari solusi ideal positif, tetapi juga memiliki jarak terjauh dari solusi ideal negatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh 4 kriteria yaitu pengiriman (Delivery) dengan bobot 0,488, pelayanan (Service) dengan bobot 0,288, kualitas (Quality) dengan bobot 0,234 dan harga dengan bobot 0,070. Sedangkan alternatif terbaik dari ke enam Vendor Trucking yaitu PT. Gita Sarana Terminal dengan bobot 0,567, PT. Emitraco dengan bobot 0,496, PT. Masadji Prayasa dengan bobot 0,432, PT. Sinar Bahari Trasindo dengan bobot 0,245, PT. Surya Bintang Pratama dengan bobot 0,180, PT. Samudera Perdana dengan bobot 0,077. Berdasarkan nilai bobot kriteria pada alternatif pemilihan Vendor Trucking terbaik maka penelitian ini merekomendasikan PT. Gita Sarana Terminal sebagai Vendor Trucking prioritas dalam aktivitas pengiriman Steel Cargo. Tangguh Samudera Jaya is a company engaged in loading and unloading. In the beginning the criteria for selecting Vendor Trucking at PT. Tangguh Samudera Jaya is only based on the price criteria offered and the quality of the fleet used. With the development of the selection criteria, the process of selecting Truck Vendor selection becomes complex. The process of selecting Vendor Trucking at PT. Tangguh Samudera Jaya is included in the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem. This is because of the many criteria used and can influence the selection of Vendor Trucking. The method used in this research is Analytical Hierarchy Process and Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution. Analytical Hierarchy Process method is used to calculate priority weights for each criteria and sub-criteria for Vendor selection. The results of weighting sub-criteria with the Analytical Hierarchy Process are then used as input for the Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution method. The Technique For Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution method is used to obtain the best alternative that not only has the shortest distance from a positive ideal solution, but also has the farthest distance from a negative ideal solution. The results of this study obtained 4 criteria, Delivery with a weight of 0.488, Service with a weight of 0.288, Quality with a weight of 0.234 and Price with a weight of 0.070. While the best alternative of the six Trucking Vendors, PT. Gita Sarana Terminal with a weight of 0.567, PT. Emitraco with a weight of 0.496, PT. Masadji Prayasa with a weight of 0.432, PT. Sinar Bahari Trasindo with a weight of 0.245, PT. Surya Bintang Pratama with a weight of 0.180, PT. Samudera Perdana with a weight of 0.077. Based on the value of the criteria weights for the best selection of Vendor Trucking, this study recommends PT. Gita Sarana Terminal as a Trucking Vendor priority in the activities of shipping Steel Cargo.
