Abstract

ABC Kab. Bandung Barat, Provinsi Jawa Barat. PT. Kata Kunci: Yoghurt, Tahapan Proses Pengembangan Produk, New Product Development, Critical Success Factor. STIMLOG Indonesia ABSTRACK The aim of his study is to determine the analysis of the process stages of developing a new product of yogurt Y at PT. ABC Kab. West Bandung, West Java Province. PT. ABC in the face of business competition makes efforts to develop new products in dairy products. Companies need a process analysis of product development stages to determine the success of the product development process for yogurt Y. Because the product before the yogurt Y failed in terms of sales for the new product category. Even though the product is still in the criteria for a new product, even the process of product development stages is the same as the yogurt product Y. So it is feared that the same failure as the previous product will occur. The method used in this research is NPD (New Product Development) with the method of calculating each stage of the product development process, namely ROI, ECV, NPV, CPM, CSI, and CSF. The results of the study indicate that PT. ABC has carried out the correct product development stages according to the experts. With the success rate of each product development process, namely: The stages are new product strategy is successful because an ROI is 19.19%, the stage of screening and business case are successful amounting to NPV of Rp 230.459.348,28 and ECV of Rp 31.986.526,25 and then, the stage of development is unsuccessful for 195 days with a delay of 5 days, and the stage of testing is successful with a CSI rate of 84.67%. So that from the analysis of the 4 stages of the new product development process, there are 3 successes and 1 unsuccessful.
